Lay(wo)man Science is a STEM blog dedicated to increasing knowledge about cool things in science for people of all backgrounds. It is composed of fact-checked, *hopefully* fun stories (I do my best) and occasional puns. I write content I’d like to see online but suggestions for content are always welcome and much appreciated.
I believe in making science more accessible to the average person. I believe science literacy and a more appreciative understanding of the natural world will lead to more effective civil dialogue and a more kind and connected humanity. That is why I made this blog and that is why I want to write about a wide array of topics in science.
